AW10, 12 and 14 are MillerEdges air wave switch systems. Each system consists of an air pressure wave which is led, via a hose or pipe, to a diaphragm contact. This contact converts the positive or negative pressure wave respectively into an electrical contact and pulse. The contact is of short duration, due to the fact that the overpressure escapes through a valve opening

| The PS20 pneumatic switch operates as an effective SensingEdge when attached to a hose that is inserted into the existing weather stripping on most doors. PS20 kits come in many sizes and can be installed on a door up to 18 in length. Sensitivity: 1/3 oz.per sq. in.
