The RAM 3100 DC runs on a brushless DC motor that draws 25 AMPS and plugs into standard 110/115/120 VAC power, converting internally to deliver the smooth, consistent torque that heavy gates require. The heavy-duty worm gear mechanism runs in a constant oil bath, eliminating noise and wear for long-lasting performance with minimal maintenance.
Control is handled by Ramset’s Intelligate Control Board, giving installers and operators precise command over gate behavior, timing, and access settings. When the power goes out, the RAM 3100 DC won’t leave you stranded — a hand lever release allows instant manual operation, and an optional battery backup system can be added to keep the gate running automatically during outages.
