A continuous-duty Ramset slide gate opener for heavy residential, commercial and industrial gates
The Ramset RAM 5100 is a heavy-duty slide gate operator from Ramset's RAM 5000 series. It's built for gates that open and close all day: apartment complexes, industrial yards, commercial lots and large estate driveways. It moves slide gates up to 40 ft long and 2,000 lbs, at about 12 inches per second.
The standard model runs a 1 HP, 220 VAC continuous-duty motor through a worm-gear speed reducer sealed in an oil bath. That gives it the torque for heavy gates and the duty cycle for high-traffic sites. Like every RAM 5000-series operator, it uses Ramset's quiet "Whisper" motor.
