Doorking 9570 Maximum Security Slide Gate Opener

The DoorKing 9570 is a Class III and Class IV heavy-duty slide gate operator rated for gates up to 25,000 lbs (11,339 kg) and 160 ft (48 m) in length. Powered by a 7.5 HP motor through a 30:1 continuous oil bath gearbox, it is the correct specification for government facilities, military installations, airports, seaports, border crossings, correctional facilities, power generation facilities, and industrial perimeter security applications where gate integrity must hold under all conditions. Class III and IV are commercial and industrial classifications — this operator is not for residential use and is not designed for it.

30:1 Fail-Secure Gearbox

The 9570's 30:1 gearbox operates in a fail-secure configuration. When power is removed, the gate cannot be moved without a mechanical disconnect. There is no coasting the gate open by hand or vehicle pressure during a power failure or grid interruption. For restricted access installations where perimeter closure is required even under adversarial or emergency conditions, this is the correct security posture.

#100 Roller Chain Drive

The 9570 drives the gate with #100 high-tensile steel roller chain. The chain creates a direct mechanical linkage that does not slip, does not stretch under thermal cycling, and is unaffected by water, ice, dirt, oil, or grease. The operator ships with 20 ft of #100 roller chain and chain brackets; a chain tray kit is available in 10-ft sections for gates over 20 ft.

Electrical, Speed Control, and Operator Intelligence

The 9570 accepts 208, 230, or 460 VAC single or three-phase input. Adjustable solid-state variable speed control provides slow-start and slow-stop operation, reducing mechanical stress on heavy gates at high cycle volumes. Anti-tailgating, adjustable partial open, and selectable stop/reverse loop functions are standard. Limit switches are direct-driven internally and cannot be accessed or tampered with from outside the housing. Two 115 VAC outlets and two plug-in loop detector ports (DKS detectors only) are integrated.

Gate Tracker Reporting

The 9570 includes a Gate Tracker reporting output that feeds operator activity data to a DKS 1833, 1835, 1837, or 1838 access control system (2358 expansion board required), enabling centralized monitoring across multi-gate facilities.

The 9570 is ETL Listed by Intertek, Made in the USA, and backed by a 5-year limited warranty. Operating range is 10°F to 140°F.
