DoorKing 9575 Maximum Security Slide Gate Operator

The DoorKing 9575 is a Class III and Class IV maximum security slide gate operator rated for gates up to 25,000 lbs (11,339 kg) and 160 ft (48 m) in length. Powered by a 7.5 HP motor through a 10:1 continuous oil bath gearbox with an included magnetic brake, the 9575 is specified for government facilities, military installations, airports, seaports, large correctional facilities, border crossings, power generation sites, and critical infrastructure perimeters where Class III or IV operation is required, gate size demands 7.5 HP capacity, and manual gate operation capability during a power failure is a project or facility requirement. Class III and IV are restricted-access commercial and industrial classifications. This operator is not for residential or general public-serving applications.

10:1 Gearbox with Included Magnetic Brake

The 9575's 10:1 gearbox paired with an included magnetic brake is the specification for installations where manual override capability is an operational necessity. Unlike the 9570's 30:1 fail-secure configuration, the 9575 can be back-driven with mechanical assistance once power is removed. The magnetic brake holds the gate securely during normal powered operation and releases in a controlled manner for manual movement when required. This is the correct model when facility emergency protocols, first responder access plans, or maintenance procedures require the ability to operate the gate without a mechanical disconnect during a power interruption.

Gate weight capacity is 25,000 lbs on three-phase power and 15,000 lbs on single-phase — power configuration must be confirmed against gate weight during specification.

#100 Roller Chain Drive

The 9575 drives the gate with #100 high-tensile steel roller chain, providing a direct mechanical linkage that will not slip and is unaffected by ice, water, dirt, oil, or grease. The unit ships with 20 ft of #100 roller chain and chain brackets. A chain tray kit (p/n 2601-270) is available in 10-ft sections and is recommended for gates exceeding 20 ft.

Electrical and Control

The 9575 accepts 208, 230, or 460 VAC single or three-phase input. Adjustable solid-state variable speed control delivers slow-start and slow-stop operation at 1–2 ft/sec. Anti-tailgating, adjustable partial open, and selectable stop/reverse loop functions are standard. Limit switches are direct-driven internally and cannot be tampered with from outside the housing. Two 115 VAC outlets and two plug-in loop detector ports (DKS detectors only) are integrated. Built-in diagnostics check for specific fault conditions at the operator.

Gate Tracker Reporting

The 9575 includes Gate Tracker output compatible with DKS 1833, 1835, 1837, and 1838 access control systems (2358 expansion board required) for centralized operator data logging across multi-gate facilities.

The 9575 is ETL Listed by Intertek, Made in the USA, and backed by a 5-year limited warranty. Operating range: 10°F to 140°F (-12°C to 62°C).
