HySecurity M30 bollards protect building entrances, storefronts, utility equipment and public spaces from vehicles, whether the impact is an accident or deliberate. They come in fixed and removable models, with deep-foundation and shallow-mount options. They are designed to the M30 level: a 15,000 lb truck at 30 mph.

Bollards stand about 36 to 39 in above grade. Lighted models stand 45-5/8 in.
Ratings vary by model. Some are crash certified. Others carry an engineered rating, which means no crash test was performed: the speed rating comes from the technical specs and the penetration rating is undetermined. What's the difference between M30 and M50 bollards?
M30 is designed for a 15,000 lb truck at 30 mph. M50 is for the same truck at 50 mph and needs a deeper footing in the deep-foundation version (44 in versus 36 in).
What does "engineered" mean?
The model wasn't crash-tested. Its speed rating is assigned from the technical specifications, and its penetration rating is undetermined. If your spec requires a certified rating, choose a crash-certified model.
When should I use shallow-mount bollards?
When buried utilities, groundwater or a shallow slab rule out a deep foundation. Shallow mounts need only 12 in of depth.
