This durable gate opener has all the same benefits as the Ram 1000, but comes with a powerful 3/4 horsepower motor, allowing it to handle slide gates up to 1500 pounds. As with Ram 1000, the Ramset Ram 5500 motor is both direct drive (no belt) and is continuous duty for worry-free operation.
It also comes equipped with the foot pedal release safety system, for easy manual opening and closing of the gate during power outages and emergencies.
