The 9500 series utilizes a high-tensile steel alloy roller chain as the pulling medium, immune to slippage and uneven terrain. This high tensile steel chain also simplifies installation. These operators include speed control modules allowing our border and security professionals to ramp up and down gates as heavy as 25000lbs. They also utilize a slow-start and slow-stop function that provides superior control over the gate's momentum.
Heavy-duty Border Operations Options include "Tamper Resistant" steel covers. These steel covers are made from 10-gauge steel to set industry standards of operational security. Another Maximum Security Opener option is the chain tray kit that is available in 10ft lengths and recommended on all gates that exceed 20' in length. DKS DoorKing also offers "Red/Green" traffic lights for these Maximum Security Slide Gate Openers. They can be incorporated into the controls of the opener to provide a clear, universal signal indicating when it is safe to proceed and when it is not.
